SANDOWN — First responders freed five injured people from a heavily damaged truck following a single-vehicle crash Friday night on North Road.
The accident victims were brought to a hospital with serious injuries that were not life threatening, according to the Sandown Fire Department.
Emergency personnel responded near 176 North Road about 9:50 p.m.
Rescuers used hydraulic extrication tools to free those trapped in the vehicle.
Assistance was requested from the Hampstead Fire Department. Another ambulance was also requested from Pridestar Trinity EMS.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Sandown Police Department.
