Haute Ecole Lucia de Brouckere

The Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere, located in Brussels and in the Walloon Brabant, offers a wide range of three-year (Bachelor’s degree) and five-year (Master’s degree) trainings.

Each year, the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere welcomes 1600 students spread out in 15 trainings, themselves gathered in five categories: agronomic, educational, economic, paramedical and technical.

For each option, the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere offers a training which combines the theoretical and practical aspects thanks to well-supervised and long-lasting trainings in the field, as well as lots of seminars with professionals.

While remaining an institution concerned about keeping its regional roots, the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere subscribes to the Bologna process with the will to give its students the opportunity to go past the borders and complete their training towards the whole European countries.

Thus, for 10 years, the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere has established instructive exchange partnerships with other institutes, higher schools and European research centers.

Other collaborations also exist with Canada and the United States, which thus favors transatlantic exchanges.

Moreover, with the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and as a founder member of the Brussels-Wallonia European University Pole, the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere wishes to favor the exchanges between students and the bridges (reorientations) between trainings and levels to the most.

Finally, the main mission of the Higher Education Institution Lucia de Brouckere is to lead its students to build their knowledge and find a place in their working life.

Thus, the future integration of the students in the socioeconomic world is, among other things, based on an education which is opening up to the outside world.

Moreover, that practice is also acquired thanks to the collaborations of several companies and research centers in the achievement of end of studies works.
