The 2,400-square-foot house was built to seamlessly blend with its limestone rock surroundings, and with its stone façade, it resembles something a character from the Flinstones might live in. The house sits on 5.18 acres and was built in 1985, according to the listing.
The home is barely distinguishable from a distance except for a few windows, reports Curbed. But even though it seems like the perfect place for a private hideaway (really, how often do unexpected guests come a' knockin' on a rock?), the interiors are surprisingly spacious.
Tall ceilings and large windows welcome plenty of light, and a living room offers sweeping views of the New Mexico landscape. Though the house only has one bedroom, there are two sleeping lofts for any guests you select to join you under your private stone.
