We were commissioned by Lytchett Matravers Parish Council and architect, Ken Morgan, to reconstruct, extend, and enhance the existing recreation ground car park. The goal was to update and improve the car park for local residents and visitors, and create a more user-friendly layout.
About the project
This complete transformation of a tired car park involved the installation of road kerbs, Marshall grass guards, and a softwood sleeper raised planter area.
Using type one limestone and 10mm stone mastic asphalt, we achieved a modern, clean finish. As well as undertaking the installation, we helped with the initial design and used our expertise to create a more functional layout.
To make the new car more appealing to eco-conscious drivers, we also installed two electric car charging ports.
In total, the new car park took six weeks to complete.

We (and more importantly, the client) are thrilled with the end result, which is a user-friendly car park with clearly marked spaces and a clean, fresh and contemporary design. The durable tarmac can be expected to last for many years and looks great.
We already have plans to keep working with Ken Morgan, so it’s safe to say this was a job well done!
