Small town of Lot-et-Garonne, in region Nova Aquitaine, Castelmoron-sur-Lot takes place about thirty kilometers from Agen, in the heart of the Country of the Lot Valley. It is located near Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Montpezat and Brugnac.
Castelmoron-sur-Lot was born on a damp and marshy website through the foundation of a priory. The town grows mainly in the Middle Ages, before knowing much damage during the Hundred Years War and then during the religious wars. However, it was not until the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth for this southern city of France knows a real economic boom.
Today, the town continues to attract visitors with its natural charm as well as its geographical proximity to some of the most beautiful cities in the region.
