Irnham Hall Wedding Photography

As a Stamford wedding photographer I’m incredibly lucky to have the marvellous Irnham Hall right on my doorstep. This year I’ve had the pleasure of shooting there four times already and I  just love how it looks so beautiful in every season. In fact I love it so much, I’m getting married there myself next Spring, cannot wait!

I’d been looking forward to Jenn and Osian’s Irnham Hall wedding for ages, so when the day finally rolled round I was up bright, early and ready to go! Joined by my marvellous second shooter Liv, we started out photographing both sides of bride and groom prep at opposite ends of the village. I’ve never walked into bride prep and been greeted with such a whoosh of activity, there was so much going on with all the bridesmaids buzzing round doing their thing. Jenn and Osh had promised me lots of fun and lively guests to photograph and they weren’t wrong – all day long their guests were outrageously good fun to photograph, we felt like part of the family in no time. Their ceremony took place at the village church which is right next to the grounds of Irnham Hall , which allowed us to got some great shots of everyone making their way over to the party.

The weather was typically English and did decide to tip it down later in the day, but the lashing rain and beautiful ambient lights of Irnham gave rise to one of my favourite photos of all time….  you’ll see which I mean at the bottom of this post.

So many of Jenn and Osian’s friends and family were involved in making their wedding entirely unique and personal to them, but perhaps none more so than Osh’s mum who made their stunning wedding cake and ran the entire catering operation. What a woman! Other highlights included a very unusual father of the bride speech (set to rap music) and Jenn’s sister Hattie singing their first dance song. I just love little touches like that.  I hope you enjoy looking through these lovely photos from this stunning Spring wedding at Irnham Hall.
