CALLING AT... MORETON-IN-MARSH

Moreton-in-Marsh is located in north-eastern Gloucestershire. It is the main settlement in the North Cotswolds. Its accessibility has been a key part of its history, welcoming travellers since Roman times. The earliest human settlements date back to the Bronze Age, with Iron Age settlements and Roman pottery all found in this town.

Today, this is the only town to have a mainline train station in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), making it the perfect starting point for a visit to this picturesque part of the country.
