During monsoons, tourists visit the Palus waterfall, Kalmandavi waterfall, Dabhosa waterfall to take a quick dip and rejuvenate. The Tungareshwar wildlife sanctuary also known as Tungareshwar National Park is over 85 km2 and forms a corridor between the well-known Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary. This is one of Maharashtra’s finest birding areas, with over hundreds of resident and migrant birds. It is not just known for birds but is also a great place to watch wild animals like leopards, wild dogs, crabs etc.

The Tungareshwar temple is another attraction located in this park premises which is frequented by visitors.There is no other spot to end an evening like a good sunset point. Suryamal, Jawhar Sunset Point are located in the Palghar district. This small but picturesque hill offers breathtaking views from the top.
