Michele Bilancia is a man as big as a giant and is accused of child abuse. His whole world is turned upside-down and he becomes the other characters’keystone of life and emotions: the child Alan, the mother Orietta, the father Ulysses, the social worker Petunia, the policeman Natale... They are all victims and executioners. This is a spiraling story that captivates, thrills, and leaves some doubt. This novel is narrated with an original style, simulating the presence of a narrator who communicates with the reader.

Ok, is a book of mine, so I have to give the best possible vote. As if it were a child, I'd like for him to do the longest possible journey. But, despite the fact I am the author, I think is an honest book, on his own way a simple one, despite all hidden structures I usually do my novels with. Actually, it's a story about a man unable to struggle with fate, to overcome his own weakness and powers. And he's used by other characters in order to show themselves.
I don't think will reach the Hall of Fame of Literature, but keeps his own dignity, a capacity of his own to stand up telling a story, to bring emotions and make reader cry, and laugh. It shows, more than other books of mine, the period in which I wrote it. If the writing process is somehow cathartic, this book made it, and maybe a reader can find a lot of himself, in the tale of Michele.
By the way, sorry for my bad English. Lucky me this book has been translated by a very good pro.
