I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist whose passion is supporting clients wherever they may be on their healing journey. I have worked with children, teens, and adults of varying cultural backgrounds and identities who have struggled with anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma and grief/loss. Additionally, I facilitate groups at an in-patient facility for adults dealing with crisis situations. I believe that our upbringing greatly influences how we see and connect in the world, and can impact our behaviors and relationships with ourselves and others. Therefore, a focus of our work together may involve understanding your previous experiences that continue to impact you presently. Making intentional choices that most align with your authentic self can increase your ability to face future obstacles with confidence and feel a greater sense of peace throughout your daily life.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, strength-based, and holistic. With my welcoming presence and focus on our therapeutic relationship, I hope to build a safe place in which you can explore your feelings, patterns of behavior, and beliefs and begin to challenge narratives that hinder your ability to live freely. I also find great value in recognizing the connection between mind, body, emotions and spirit, and may incorporate mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, or other practices that allow you to be present as your whole self. By building upon your strengths, collaboratively setting goals, and working at your pace, I hope to be a witness of your growth and healing during this part of your life journey.
As a third-generation Mexican-American who was raised to follow a combination and often conflicting set of cultural values, I recognize the complexity of culture within our multitude of identities. I participate in Mexican community circles that honor the Indigenous healing practices and plant medicine of my ancestors in order to stay connected to my ancestral roots and culture in a more meaningful way. I am also a mother and partner and enjoy spending time with my family, connecting with nature, and listening to music during my free time.

I do have a number of sliding scale openings available from $40-$150/session.
All major credit cards and health savings accounts accepted.
A superbill is provided for those with PPO insurance plans for possible reimbursement.
