Madhya Pradesh Election 2018 Results: Baihar, Lanji, Paraswada, Balaghat, Waraseoni, Katangi, Barghat, Seoni

Bhopal: The counting of votes for the 230 Assembly constituencies that went to polls in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 on November 28 is underway. The results for Baihar, Lanji, Paraswada, Balaghat, Waraseoni, Katangi, Barghat, and Seoni Assembly constituencies will be announced today, December 11. Baihar, Lanji, Paraswada, Balaghat, Waraseoni, Katangi, Barghat, and Seoni are witnessing a tough contest between the candidates of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress among other regional and national parties and will get new MLAs today. Baihar recorded a voter turnout of 81 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Anupama Netam, Congress’s Sanjay Uieke, BSP’s Bairag Singh Tekam, and AAP’s Dilan Singh Kodape. Congress wins. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, was won by Sanjay Uieke of the Congress in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Lanji is witnessing a close fight between BJP’s Ramesh Bhatere and Congress’ Hina Likhiram Kawre. He will also face a contest against Meera Nanaji Samrite of BSP and Hiralal Panche of AAP. The seat recorded 79 per cent voter turnout on November 28. Congress’ Hina Likhiram Kawre wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, the seat was won by Hina Likhiram Kawre of the Congress.

Paraswada had witnessed 84 per cent voter turnout on November 28. The candidates fighting for the seat are – Ramkishore Kanware of the BJP, Madhu Bhagat of the Congress, Mukesh Boudhh of BSP and AAP’s Narasram Saiyyam. BJP wins. In 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election, Madhu Bhagat of the Congress had won the seat. Kankar Munjare from SP is leading with 2388 votes.

Balaghat recorded a voter turnout of 70 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Gauri Shankar Chaturbhuj Bisen, Congress’s Vishveshwar Bhagat, BSP’s Yogesh Samrite and AAP’s Afsana Khan. BJP’s Gauri Shankar Chaturbhuj Bisen wins. The seat was won by Gauri Shankar Chaturbhuj Bisen of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Waraseoni recorded a voter turnout of 80 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Yogendra Nirmal, Congress’s Sanjay Singh Mesani, BSP’s Ramkumar and AAP’s Nirdosh. Pradeep Amratlal Jaiswal (Gudda) from an Independent party wins.  The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, was won by Yogendra Nirmal of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Katangi recorded a voter turnout of 76 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s KD Deshmukh, Congress’s Tamlal Sahare, AAP’s Rukhmani Nag Uikey, and BSP’s Ajabshastri. Congress wins. The seat was won by KD Deshmukh of BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Barghat recorded a voter turnout of 71 per cent on November 28. The seat, reserved for Scheduled Tribe candidate, is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Kamal Marskole, Congress’s Arjun Singh Kakodiya, AAP’s Narendra Kunjam, and BSP’s Shashi Kishori Bhalavi. Congress wins. The seat was won by Kamal Marskole of the BJP in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

Seoni recorded a voter turnout of 75 per cent on November 28. The seat is witnessing a tough contest between BJP’s Dinesh Rai Munmun, Congress’s Mohan Singh Chandel, AAP’s Rajshri and BSP’s Meghraj Guldar Hariyale. BJP’s Dinesh Rai Munmun wins. The seat was won by Dinesh Rai Munmun, an Independent candidate, in 2013 Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election.

The voting for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Election 2018 was held on November 28. The counting of votes and the results for all the Assembly constituencies including Baihar, Lanji, Paraswada, Balaghat, Waraseoni, Katangi, Barghat and Seoni will be announced today, December 11.
