A beautiful location..very rural...track to cottage is overgrown in places & needs cutting back to prevent cars from being scratched. I think an ordinary car would struggle in the winter..but 4x4 fine. The swimming pool is great..temperature was just warm enough for this time of year. Pool house also has a wet room bathroom..1 bedroom and a small lounge which are comfortable. The main cottage which has 2 bedrooms is tired and some things need addressing. The mattress on the bed in main bedroom is awful..its thin and like laying on hardboard..not comfortable at all as are the ones in the 2nd bedroom too..one of the lounge sofas is not comfortable either..its low down and hardly no padding left in it. Kitchen is well equipped but frying pans stick and need replacing. With a few changes to improve comfort level this would be a really lovely place for a restful relaxing holiday. The pool is by far what makes it great..We had a problem with the pool alarm going off after a power cut..needed to call owner..very intolerant behaviour from her on the phone..we werenot impressed with that at all...certainly not friendly. !!

Fantastic holiday, it had everything we wanted or needed. We have already recommended it to family and friends and would definitely return in the future. Kids loved the pool and games room. No-one wanted the holiday to end and leave the house.

We had a lovely week at Beer Farm, in a great location and close to lots of places to visit and the Beach - definitely recommend Dunster Castle and Beach and the Steam railway at Minehead. Cottage was clean and well presented. Our only 2 issues were the driveway was quite overgrown and left significant scratches on the sides of our vehicles, and there is no BBQ as advertised (so you’ll need to use disposables or take your own as we did). Otherwise a fab experience and I would definitely recommend - the kids LOVED the pool ☺️
