This spot provides a majestic view of the town of Ophir and the Howard Fork Valley. Further down this road before Ophir is also the "secret" spot of the curved Aspen. You'll find it.

Photography Tips

Any lens will do. The longer end is probably better as this place is huge. If you find the curved aspen, then a wide angel is needed.

Travel Information

Driving this road over the Ophir Pass is risky with normal street tires. Lifted Jeep or SUV with off-road tires is recommended. This road closes early in winter and open late in spring. Check reports.
