Sergio Contreras, Sr.

Our father, Sergio “Guero” C Contreras Sr., passed away on June 9th, 2023 at 82 years old, after a difficult battle with Cancer for the second time.

Sergio was born September 30, 1940 to his parents, Jose & Maria Del Carmen. Sergio had a difficult childhood, but this shaped his life as an adult and inspired him to be a dedicated and loving husband and father.

Sergio married his beloved wife Ramona on October 16, 1964, and had 4 biological children Sergio Jr. David, Carmen and Sonia and adopted child Abel. Having a blended family was defined by love and generosity.

We mourn the loss of our father and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty and joy he brought to this world.

Sergio was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Contreras, children David, Carmen and Abel. Grandchildren Adrian, Justin Ray and great grandchild Kiera.

Survived by son, Sergio Contreras Jr.; daughter, Sonia Solis (Andres); grandchildren, Lousinda (Adam), David Jr, Angel, Andy Jr, Ashlee, Kiana, Wyatt and Aaliyah (Samuel); and great grandchildren, MaRyah, Vayleen, Carlee, Evangeline and another one the way.
