Davangere Election Results Highlights: Along with other districts in Karnataka, Devangere is all set to witness the counting of votes for the state Assembly Polls 2023. The Devangere has a total of seven Assembly constituencies, namely Jagalur, Harihar, Davanagere North, Davanagere South, Mayakonda, Channagiri and Honnali. The electors of the state cast their votes on May 10 to elect their representatives for the respective constituencies. There are a total of 224 Assembly constituencies in 31 districts in the state. Although there are several parties contesting the polls, the BJP, Congress, and JDs are considered to be the main contenders in the state.

6: 55 am: Ahead of vote counting today, Section 144 has been imposed in Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka. The restriction will be effective in the district until 12 am on Sunday.
