Kitahiroshima City Is Getting A New Station For Its New Stadium

HOKKAIDO NEWS

Japan Railways (JR) Hokkaido announced on 26 October that it has agreed with Kitahiroshima City to build a new JR station.

 

The site is next to the new 35,000 person capacity Es Con Field Hokkaido which is the home stadium for the The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

Kitahiroshima City has stated that its goal is the station being opened by the end of fiscal 2027.

Kitahiroshima is located in Ishikari, Hokkaido, to the east of Sapporo, about three hours from Niseko by JR train and two hours by car.
