Overview

Hello Everyone

Where's Jack Frost when you need him? We've had loads more rain recently and could do with a freeze to firm up the ground somewhat, especially since we're walking near the Trent Valley from Yoxall this Sunday, but away from the river.

During the recon on Monday the going was decidedly soft in certain places, although there wasn't any sticky mud to contend with on this relatively flat walk featuring field footpaths, good tracks, and quiet country lanes. Pending underfoot conditions on the day we may tweak the route to include more lanes which will also cut down on the number of stiles (currently approximately 20) and the total mileage.

Assuming I haven't put you off (😬😳😬) you're most welcome to join us of course!

Registration: 09.45. Walk start: 10.00.

Pub afterwards to be decided upon.

See you all there!
