➜ The Log house Erezsäss is a beautiful ski hut with a large sun terrace — a part is equipped with a lounge — next to the valley station of the Schiferbahn on the monastery side of the Paresenn ski area. When we switched on a lunch break, the sun was not strong enough to stay on the terrace, so we preferred to eat it in the hut. To order, we had to wait for the friendly service staff for a while. The map offers a good selection of different dishes. Besides rich food such as rösti and various soups of the day, there are also various salads on the menu. We opted for a winter salad that tasted good and was lush. Judging by the many empty Magnum wine bottles, the blockhouse Erezsäss is a preferred place to have a good sip. A "no go" in our opinion is the Apple Spritzer, which is manufactured in Austria and whose rotary closure of the Petflasche is so difficult to open, that we had to ask a burly service staff for help in order to be able to drink a sip.
