A multi-use waterfront site has been sold to a Northern Beaches developer for a tidy $3 million.
Number 386 Booker Bay Rd, Booker Bay sold prior to auction and, according to Dale Bassett at PRD Nationwide Ettalong, the sale was a swift one.
“The buyer caught the ferry over late on Saturday afternoon, liked what he saw and was back again on Tuesday afternoon with a signed contract and cheque deposit,” Mr Bassett said.
“I also had four other offers on the property.
“We had in excess of 80 people inspecting with 20 contracts out and four other offers.

“People were attracted to the uniqueness of the site. It is absolute beachfront with excellent proximity to Sydney and views all the way out to Palm Beach.”
Mr Bassett said the buyer was a well-known and successful developer from Avalon who planned to build an over-55’s development.
“It’s a very savvy idea because with that type of development you can get more on site,” Mr Bassett said. “He’ll get a good cut of the Sydney retiree market coming up to live here I think.”
The site had been previously owned by a family who rented the properties out as holiday units, but the site has been redundant for years. The 1416sq m property includes five separate council-approved dwellings, 10 bedrooms, seven bathrooms and eight-car garaging. It also includes its own private sandy beach.
