Province of Pangasinan
MUNICIPALITY OF SAN NICOLAS
Greetings!
I am writing with reference to the Complaint of the anonymous caller against me for alleged
corruption lodged at the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
It was alleged by the anonymous caller that the appropriated fund for the construction of
the new Rural Health Unit was financed by the local government.
This issue raised by the complainant is of no merit. The construction of the new RHU of
the Municipality of San Nicolas, Pangasinan is funded by the national government,
particularly, the Department of Health (DOH) and being implemented by the Department
of Public Works and Highways. (Please see attached)
The old municipal building was declared by our Municipal Engineer, Engr. Ferdinand
Rodrigo, through Certification, already subject for condemnation. TheSangguniang Bayan
of San Nicolas, Pangasinan also issued Municipal Resolution No. 32, Series of 2014
authorizing the Municipal engineer to implement and supervise the demolition of the old
and dilapidated Municipal Hall building. (Please see attached)Thus, the municipal
government chose this as proper venue for the construction of the new Rural Health Unit
in order to conveniently and confidently cater healthcare services for the people of San
Nicolas.
Further, the construction of the new Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) building is evinced
by Municipal Resolution No. 58, series of 2015 issued by the Sangguniang Bayan of San
Nicolas, Pangasinan and a Permit was issued by the Department of Environment and
Natural Resources (DENR) allowing the cutting of trees to pave way for its construction.
