A. BASILICA MINORE OF OUR LADY OF CHARITY

The Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Charity , better known as Agoo Basilica, is a Roman Catholic
Minor Basilica in Agoo, La Union, the Philippines dedicated to Our Lady of Charity. It is the seat of
the Santa Monica Parish of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Fernando de La Union under the
Vicariate of St. Francis Xavier .

B. AGOO MUSEUM

The Museo de Iloko, (also called the Agoo Museum or the Agoo Presidencia), is a heritage
building and museum located in Agoo, La Union, Philippines, known for its collection of "artifacts
and other pieces of cultural importance to the Ilocanos", and for being one of few surviving
examples of American Colonial Era architecture in the Ilocos Region.
C. THE EAGLE OF NORTH PARK

The eagle sculpture is depicted with its wings spread as if it is preparing to take flight and
symbolizes the influence of the Marcos family. It features an concrete sculpture known as Eagle of
the North by Anselmo Day-ag.

D. JOSE D. ASPERAS ANCESTRAL HOUSE

The Jose D.Aspiras ancestral house was owned by formerJose D. Aspiras was a Filipino politician.
He was a member of former President Ferdinand Marcos's cabinet, serving as the country's first
Minister of Tourism, and was responsible for the designation of Agoo as a first-class municipality.

E. LOOM WEAVING

One of the major products from the town of Bangar, La Union is blanket weaving. It has been
traditionally known and learned by few of the rural people of this town.they have weaved these
blankets with their bare hands and a few woods where the strings were slicked in to start weaving
it. It would be very interesting to witness a skill on how they do it.
F. STONE & CRAFTS

Stone Arts and Crafts has also been a conspicuous product of the same town of Up-Uplas,
Sudipen, La Union. They have usually produced and displayed unique table decors, garden
decors and sculptures.

G. BAMBOO CREAFT

Bamboo crafting has been widely known around the town of Up-Uplas, Sudipen, La Union. It has
been a traditional craft using BAMBOO as a raw material because of its multifarious uses and it’s
a low cost making. Rural people of this town has been both producers and consumers of this

This restaurant offer their very best food menu specialty, as they actually have big servings for
everyone. Very authentic Ilocano dishes are served, that are worth every peso spent. Very
Affordable. We have special Pulpog Pork, Bagoong Rice, Kilawen Goat, Brewed Coffee and
Cookies and Cream Ice Cream for dessert.

The food they serve is nice and gratifying with a reasonable price.It is efficient for everyone to

additional dishes. To our surprise, the eat all you can rate is just 150 pesos per head.

C. DENISIA’S GRILL &SEAFOOD RESTAURANT

The restaurant was called by the owner’s name, “Denisia”, a resident of the province of La Union.
They serve their very own specialty of grilled meals and seafood recipes, which are very popular
to customers who crave for somewhat like “lutong bahay” recipes, aside from what people usually
take from fast food stores around the town.

Lomboy Grape Farm is the pioneer vineyard founded by Avelino Lomboy or so-called “Grape King”
of the north, where he initiated grape farming and supplies the country with fresh grown grapes
from the province.La union is not just a surfing, historical nor breathtaking view destination it is
also a fruit basket of the north.

B. PAGODA HILL

Filipino-chinese pagoda in San Fernando la union. Located at the top hill of the city. A scenic spot
of the province with a panoramic view of San Fernando city bay. Many people come here to
witness the beautiful la union during sunset. This spot is good for those romantic people who

C. PORO POINT LIGHTHOUSE

Poro Point, also known historically as San Fernando Point ( Spanish: Punta San Fernando ), is a
headland and peninsula located in the city of San Fernando, La Union, on the island of Luzon in
the Philippines. It projects northwesterly about 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) into the South China Sea.
