  • The Chills

    What a great show (Amsterdam June 2023). Martin Phillipps is in top form. I saw The Chills once before in the late 90's. The new band is so good, the songs - a good mix of old songs and some newer ones - sounded fresh and sparkling. The new songs blended in seamlessly and you can tell what a great songsmith Phillipps was and still is. His new songs were exciting and the whole show was a good mix of some nostalgia, but not too much. It was by no means a greatest hits show, although they played quite a lot of them, but they sounded fresh as ever. it's as if the Chills were never gone. Brilliant, go see them!
