• I saw Television Personalities, live, several years ago and the show was amazing and intense from start to finish. The band covered a variety of their work including their light pieces, and to my pleasure, their dark pieces.

  The house lights were low and the stage lights allowed for perfect audience viewing of the band. Interaction from the band was the most intense thing ever, especially as they performed their dark pieces, their facial emotions were just intense! I couldn’t help but feel what the band felt and I am sure many in the audience felt the same way as there was this wall of silence, during those pieces, however once the song ended, applause and cheers erupted.

  The band seemed so natural onstage, at ease with their talent with a willingness to share that talent with the world. The next day I discovered that the performance had not been planned but you would not have been able to tell as they did not seem nervous or unrehearsed.

  Television Personalities is an England band with a lot of post-punk and punk rock feel to the music and they have added in a bit of psychedelic influences, which took their music to a level different from the rest. I like this band for their indie pop sound as well and I cannot wait to see them perform again, especially on the big stage or perhaps in an outdoor setting.
