Big Boi performs at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in Zilker Park on Saturday October 8, 2022. The Atlanta rapper, half of the widely revered hip-hop duo OutKast, will play a free show on the University of Texas campus before the Longhorns take on Wyoming on Saturday.

Every time Big Boi tells Austin, "It's good to be back in the Dirty South," a honky tonk angel gets a pinky ring. Or something. The artist, aka Daddy Fat Sacks, aka Sir Lucious Left Foot, aka half of one of the greatest Southern hip-hop duos of all time, loves our city and we love him back.

It's time to bust out the bling and the "Krytonite." Daddy Fat Sacks will play a free show Saturday on the LBJ Lawn on the University of Texas campus before the Longhorns take on Wyoming. The ATL heavy, who was in Austin for South by Southwest earlier this year — seriously, he really is quite fond of us — has been playing a mix of his solo bangers and OutKast classics on his current tour.
