Wes Allen is a Republican politician from Troy, Alabama, who holds many electoral bids for positions based in the state.
He graduated from the University of Alabama and played on the college's Crimson Tide football team.
In 2009, then-Governor Bob Riley appointed Wes as a probate judge for Pike County before he was elected to a full term.
On November 7, 2018, Wes was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives.

On May 5, 2021, he announced his run for Alabama's Secretary of State against fellow Republican candidate, Jim Ziegler.
While announcing his candidacy, Wes stated to the press: "My entire career has prepared me for this position.
"As a Probate Judge, I ran 18 elections without a single error or problem."

He further said: "It is that type of error-free elections that our probate judges, circuit clerks, absentee election managers, boards of registrars, sheriffs, and poll workers strive to achieve over and over."
