🐟Lummi Island Wild Salmon🐟 Fun fact about me: when I was in high school, I was president of the environmental club! 🤓 The main thing that sold me & made me super excited to work with @lummiislandwild is their focus on bringing eco friendly and sustainable seafood to the table. Their wild salmon fishery was the first one in the WORLD to be solar powered, and they leave the lowest carbon footprint of any salmon fishery in the Salish Sea. SO COOL!! When I opened the fully recyclable packaging, I saw that the fish had that amazing wild-caught color. They’re so pretty, and packed with omega 3s! Lummi Island sent me both king and sockeye salmon to try. I wanted to see if I could taste the difference between the two, and I did! Sockeye is a bit leaner, denser and richer in color. The king was a little fattier and more tender, which made for a richer, flakier fish. I liked both, but I think I’m more of a king salmon girl 😋. I lightly salted and peppered the fillets, then whipped up a garlic, cayenne, whole mustard & honey glaze. I tossed them in the air fryer for about 15 mins, skin side down. Garnished them with a little thyme, and dassittttt. Super easy, super yummy, and super good for you. 🐟🐟🐟 #lumiislandwild #salmonfordinner #salmonrecipe #seafoodrecipe #salmonlover #seafoodlover #livingsustainably @apexdropofficial
