It deals with a fairly niche world, and it may be painful to think that it is a museum at the end of the Edo period. We deal with famous haiku poets and painters in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Admission is free, and there is a small monument of Santouhi at the entrance. There are exhibition rooms such as Santouhi and Nakaan. There is also a large Santouhi monument on the side, but you can't tell unless you know it.
I felt that there were quite a lot of materials that were specialized in the regional nature of Yamaguchi City, which explained in detail. Also, the staff were very friendly and I liked it.
The white 2 8 square building is impressive. On the 1 floor, materials related to the haiku race Tayama Toho were exhibited. The works of modern sculptor Kensuke Kawachiyama are also on display. There was also a parking lot for free.
The historical exhibition corner is substantial. (Who supported the anti-Japanese curtain)
