Alysane Mormont, apodada la Joven Osa, es la segunda hija de Lady Maege Mormont. Tras la muerte de su hermana mayor, Dacey, se convierte en la heredera de Isla del Oso.

Alysane es descrita como una mujer baja, musculosa con muslos, pechos y manos grandes. Tiene los dientes torcidos pero una sonrisa graciosa. Sus manos están llenas de callos. Se dice que sus ronquidos son peores que los de cualquier hombre. Es considerada fiera. Es una mujer veinteañera con dos hijos, una niña de nueve y un niño de dos años. No está casada y sostiene que ella es una cambiapieles, y que el padre de sus hijos es un oso.

Alysane y los hombres de armas de la Casa Mormont lanzan un ataque sorpresa contra los Hombres del Hierro asentados en Bosquespeso, logrando cogerles desprevenidos, yendo ocultos dentro de una baraña de barcas de pesca. Alysane quema y captura todas las naves, asegurando a varios capitanes, guerreros, y algunos miembros de alta cuna para solicitar rescate.

Después de que Stannis Baratheon toma Bosquespeso y la restaura a la Casa Glover, la Casa Mormont jura lealtad a Stannis I. Alysane se une a su ejército a la hora de marchar sobre Invernalia. Alysane, a pesar de su alianza, frustra a Stannis. Más tarde es asignada como una de las guardias de Asha Greyjoy.

Acampando en una aldea cerca del Bosque de los Lobos al oeste de Invernalia, Alysane y Asha van a pescar a los lagos congelados, pero después de varios días, tienen poca suerte de encontrar cualquier pez. Alysane protege a Asha cuando Clayton Suggs desea quemarla como un sacrificio a R'hllor.

El rey Stannis decide mandar a Alysane al Muro junto a Ser Justin Massey, para hacer compañía a "Arya Stark".

Es tan complicado buscar a un personaje robusto, especialmente mujer y con ropas mas medievales o cercanas (Y si, Hayley Atwell no es ni gorda, ni nada eso, pero al menos en estos dos ángulos tiene un aspecto mas o menos como “Alysane”)

Alysane Mormont, nicknamed the Young Bear, is the second daughter of Lady Maege Mormont. After the death of her older sister, Dacey, she becomes the heir to Isla del Oso.

Alysane is described as a short, muscular woman with large thighs, breasts, and hands. She has crooked teeth but a funny smile. Her hands are full of calluses. Her snoring is said to be worse than any man's. It is considered fierce. She is a woman in her twenties with two children, a nine-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy. She is not married and maintains that she is a skin changer, and that the father of her children is a bear.

Alysane and the men-at-arms of House Mormont launch a surprise attack against the Iron Men settled in the Weightwood, managing to catch them off guard, going hidden inside a bundle of fishing boats. Alysane burns and captures all the ships, securing several captains, warriors, and some highborn members for ransom.

After Stannis Baratheon takes Weightwood and restores it to House Glover, House Mormont pledges allegiance to Stannis I. Alysane joins her army as they march on Winterfell. Alysane, despite their alliance, frustrates Stannis. She is later assigned as one of Asha Greyjoy's guards.

Camping in a village near the Forest of Wolves west of Winterfell, Alysane and Asha go fishing in the frozen lakes, but after several days, they have little luck finding any fish. Alysane protects Asha when Clayton Suggs wishes to burn her as a sacrifice to R'hllor.

King Stannis decides to send Alysane to the Wall with Ser Justin Massey, to keep "Arya Stark" company.

It is so difficult to look for a robust character, especially a woman and with more medieval or close clothes (And yes, Hayley Atwell is neither fat, nor anything like that, but at least in these two angles she looks more or less like "Alysane" )
