Len Blake is an emerging artist based in London who released her debut EP “Honey Blood” in September 2021 from her hometown of Wellington, New Zealand. Her intimate, soulful grooves draw inspiration from jazz, neo soul, R&B and pop. Len returned to New Zealand this summer to perform at Rhythm and Vines festival, Tora Bombora and the opening act for Jordan Rakei's Auckland show. Len is joined by her 4-piece band of Wellington musicians - Sam Nakamura, Ben Stewart, Zane Hawkins and Lennox Grootjans.
Come along on Sunday 26th February for a relaxed, early Sunday-night boogie where Len will be performing songs from her Honey Blood EP as well as showcasing new sounds straight from London. This is Len's last show before she heads back to the UK so don't miss out!
Kicking things off for the evening will be the new, Wellington-based two piece, Girl Best Friend. The emerging duo, comprised of Charlotte Avery (lead vocalist and guitarist) and Tessa Hills (drummer) bring together luscious vocals and groovy fresh rhythms to produce a tasty take on alternative r&b!
