CSS Announce New Album, New Label
'La Liberacion' Drops August 29
Brazilian New Ravers CSS, or Cansei de Ser Sexy (translation: “got tired of being sexy”), announced today their jump to label V2 Music/Cooperative Music, which will be releasing their third full-length album later this year. The slightly irreverent electro-rock outfit was previously signed to Sub Pop in the U.S. V2 Music/Cooperative Music, with the help of Downtown Records, is set to drop La Liberacion Stateside on August 29, the band’s latest effort since 2008’s Donkey. According to CSS vocalist Lovefoxxx, “My mantra for this record is ‘rip shit’ and that is what we do on La Liberacion.”
