SO TODAY, THE KENTUCKY HUMANE SOCIETY UNVEILED A 60 BY 20 FOOT BANNER ON THE LIBERTY STREET SIDE OF THE LOUISVILLE MARRIOTT DOWNTOWN. ETHAN WAS FOUND ABANDONED IN JANUARY OF 2021, AND THE HUMANE SOCIETY’S PARKING LOT. THE STAFF CARED FOR HIM. ACTUALLY. THEY CARED FOR HIM BACK TO LIFE. HE WAS ALMOST DEAD. HE WAS WELL ENOUGH, FINALLY FOR THE FACILITIES DIRECTOR TO ADOPT HIM. IT’S PRETTY REMARKABLE. PRETTY INCREDIBLE. IT SAYS SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT SHELTER ANIMALS REPRESENT. WE CAN LEARN SO MUCH FROM THEM. THEY SET AN EXAMPLE FOR US TO BE KIND AND TO FORGIVE OF BRAZILIAN OF SECOND CHANCES OF FRIENDSHIP AND OF LOVE AND THE HONORS DON’T STOP THERE. Ethan the dog is now larger than life in downtown Louisville. The Kentucky Humane Society unveiled the banner with Ethan's image on the Liberty Street side of the Louisville Marriot in downtown on Wednesday.He was officially named "Kentucky's Humane Hero."The 60 x 20 foot banner shows local support and encouragement for Ethan.He was found abandoned in January 2021 in the Humane Society's parking lot.The staff cared for him until he was well enough for the facilities director to adopt him.Next month, Ethan and his owner, Jeff Callaway, will be presented with a WLKY Bell Award for spreading awareness of abused and neglected dogs.
