Five people taken to hospital after crash in Sandown, fire department says
Five people were taken to the hospital after a crash Friday night in a southern New Hampshire town, the fire department says. Sandown Fire Rescue said the single-vehicle crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. on North Road. Firefighters said five people were removed from the truck using specialized tools. Those people were taken to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Authorities said the cause of the accident is being investigated by the Sandown Police Department.
