Oh this is SUCH a clever concept and a seamlessly executed music video for indie musician Darwin Deez’s track “The Mess She Made.” Directed by Oscar Hudson, the video uses the good old perspective trick of simulating singing money faces by overlapping one half of Darwin Deez’s face with various notes of world currency. The track is really catchy too, so it’s totally worth a little looksie.

As an aside, watching this made me feel a bit nostalgic, as the video features a number of old bank notes from former Yugoslavia, a country I was born in that no longer exists. I’m happy to see the notes still getting some mileage though, and I especially love Nikola Tesla blowing bubble gum. Gold!
