evacuation; Hinatuan Response Team rescued 2 capsized boats early morning of 17 

January 2014, no casualties reported 

Carrascal is continuously conducting on-air wide dissemination on preparedness 

measures and weather bulletins; conducted ocular survey on the status of rivers, 

streams and landslide prone areas on 17 January 2014 

Carras Nickel Corporation (CNC) deployed 15 rescuers and 1 heavy equipment for 

transportation in the request of MDRRMC Carrascal for help in the evacuation of the 

affected communities 

Jabonga assisted in the evacuation and distributed relief goods and aqua purifier 

tablet/liquid to flood affected families 

Buenavista convened for an emergency meeting to prepare for possible effects of this 

weather disturbance and established Command Center to monitor the situation. 

Likewise, forced evacuation was implemented in coastal and other high risk areas in 

the municipality and deployed rescue teams to assist in evacuation
