Overview

Temuco is an inland city located in Araucanía Region, about 680 km south of Santiago. The Araucanía Region is characterized by the presence of two hydrographic basins, those of the Imperial River and the Toltén River. The regional capital is Temuco, one of the most developed cities in the country. The main economic activities are linked to the agriculture of traditional crops. Climate It has a temperate warm rainy climate with a Chilean Mediterranean influence of intermediate depression of the Araucanía in the Cautín Valley area where the climate is colder and rainier, in transition to semi-humid temperate. it is a city to work directly with indigenous communities.
