* Auctioneers Note:  We are honored to assist the Alvord, IA fire department in offering this building to be moved for sale at auction. The fire department plans on constructing a new building in 2024 and all proceeds from this sale will go to benefit the construction of the new Alvord Community Center!

Location: Building is located directly South of the Alvord, IA city office building (302 N. Main St., Alvord, IA)

* Terms:  Buildings are sold as is, where is with any/all defects. Buyers willl assume full liability for buildings and are responsible to ensure the building is properly insured. If damage occurs to the building after buyer has purchased the building the owners will not give any refunds or provide any insurance on the buildings. Buyers upon payment will be required to sign a bill of sale for the building they purchased which will state that they assume full liability for the building and are responsible to insure the building against loss. Buyer also understands and agrees that if the buyer does not remove the building by the final deadline that the building in question will be demolished and buyer will not be entitled to a refund and there will be no exceptions or extensions granted to the buyer.

DEADLINE TO REMOVE THE BUILDINGS FROM THE PROPERTY WILL BE MAY 1, 2024.

ALL MEASUREMENTS STATED ARE NOT GUARANTEED AND BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE TO VERIFY ANY MEASUREMENTS WHICH ARE IMPORTANT TO THE BUYER.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BIDDING ON THE BUILDING PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SCREEN IS REFRESHING PROPERLY WHEN THE AUCTION CLOSING AND WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU LOG IN ON TWO SEPARATE DEVICES WITH THE AUCTION CATALOG OPEN WHILE THE AUCTION IS CLOSING TO HELP PREVENT ANY ISSUES.

The reznor natural gas heater in the shop will be included with the building. The overhead doors and door openers will also be included with the building.

All loose personal property in the building will not be included with the building. The Alvord Fire & Rescue sign on the building will not be included with the building.

Building must be removed by May 1, 2024. Buyer must remove the entire building from the property with the only exception being the concrete. If buyer is not removed by May 1, 2024 the buyer will forfeit all rights to the building and no refunds will be given to the purchaser. The City will also have the right to assess any removal costs of the building to the buyer if the City desires to do so if the buyer does not have the building removed from the property by May 1, 2024. NO physical real estate is included with this sale.
